How to submit an image to Structurae | ||||
| You would like to help Structurae by submitting one or more images? That is not difficult. In fact, you can just e-mail them to images@structurae.de . But before you go ahead to do so, there's a couple of legal points that we would like to stress. You and we ourselves are all bound by national and international copyright laws. So for every submission you make, we kindly ask that you copy one of the following two disclaimers into your message or make an equivalent one.: | ||||

| This is indispensable to protect the editors and owners of Structurae from legal prosecution. For the same reasons, we ask you not to send us images that you have taken from other web sites (no your own), journals, magazines, post cards, books or any other publication not your own. The only exception are images that have officially been declared to be in the public domain or where the age of the publication is greater than the copyright limitation applicable in your country or the country of publication and if you own a copy of that publication yourself. | ||||
| We prefer images in the formats .jpg (JPEG) or .gif. When submitting via e-mail, please send as attachments. If the image is of poor quality or insufficient size or if we have any doubts about the legal disclaimer made, we reserve the right not to publish a submitted image. | ||||
It is absolutely necessary that you provide the name of the structure and also the ID number (or URL) of the data page on which you think the image should appear. Otherwise it becomes difficult to attribute the image to one of the over 40 000 entries. With each image we also aks that you provide us with the following information:
